Halloweekend

This took a while to post because I always have to wait for my friends to upload photos on Facebook so I can steal them to put them on here. I really should buy a camera, but I don't know squat about photography and I'd be too lazy to lug it around. So, I posted about my Halloween costume ideas and I thought I would show you the fruit of my labors. I spent a whole day with Yua and Ana walking from SM to Glorietta to Landmark and back multiple times to find the perfect costume add-ons. I went home with socks and false lashes. Here's a photo of what I ended up wearing:
Can't figure it out? Yeah not a lot of people did. I'm not as clever as I thought, I guess. The big reveal plus more photos and stories of our shenanigans after the jump!

I'm a porcelain doll!!!!! Well that was the plan. The lace dress was the most Victorian thing in my closet. I figured the socks and mary-janes would give it the doll vibe along with the headband. The makeup was done by the extremely talented Dana whose blog you can read for makeup tips/tutorials.
The night started off with everyone meeting up at Therese's place. We all got dolled up there together. It took forever and we ended up leaving their house at around 11pm. The original plan was Amber, but we were guestlisted for a different night, but thank god we were also in the 7th High guestlist. They were extra strict since there were so many people, so some minors didn't get to go in. Therese and I did, though, and we had a few rounds of drinks with John, Fae, and Fae's sister.
The whole gang

Fae (military gal), Therese (bee),and I
After leaving 7th High, we headed off to meet with the rest of the group and they too were getting their drinks on! So of course we joined in on the fun and, well, we drank some more!
ummm.....

with the Vamp couple, Gab and Tina

After what seemed to me like three minutes, they wanted to head home, so we did, but first we had to figure out where Czar went. Apparently, she headed off to Mercato to eat! Now, for you to imagine true to life how much we all side-eyed each other the moment we found that out, you have to know that the lot of us were already very intoxicated and Czar, who was ALWAYS with no exception the first person to vomit whenever alcohol is present, was not. So we went to pick her up, and long story short, I learned that public drunkenness is not as funny when you remember it in the morning.

So we capped the night off with food. Ana had her favorite sausage. I bought two cakes. One was bread pudding, which Dana called a pimple repeatedly while I struggled to swallow it without laughing. Cool took us home where Yua and Ana had a drunken fight in the car and I had to stop Ana from crying by telling her that we will cut her bangs.

I slept over at Ana's house and had to wake up and take a cab home at 7am, because her whole family was leaving to go to the province. When I got home, my mom kept insisting I reeked of alcohol and I kept insisting I didn't get drunk. She kept asking me things and I guess she figured I was still inebriated when it took me three minutes to pronounce the word "pupunta" right.

Halloweekend was a blast! It's so sad we only get one night a year to dress up silly! Next year, I'll probably wear something which will make me less recognizable just so it's not so embarrassing when I exhibit public drunkenness again.

Can't wait!!! xx
