So it's quite obvious that I don't really post on this blog about my actual life. Is it because I don't have one or is it because I just don't like to talk about it? I think it's a little bit of both. So on the rare occasions like this that I actually spend time outside of my room, I will have to blog about it. (Also I am waiting for my Love and Other Drugs download to finish and I am impatient)

I had to stay in the dorm last night (even though it was a Friday) to get to Ateneo by 7am. The exposure trip was so disappointing. I accepted that I would have to go to some place with dozens of devilish little children. I would have to teach them and then play with them and that they would probably just be assclowns who won't listen to a word I say, but I'll do it anyway because I am trying to help these unfortunate kids (hey, I have a heart, okay?). I accepted my fate and went there with little to no complaints. We finally get there and shit, none of our elaborate preparations are carried through because there are only a handful of kids (What the fuck did they expect, that all kids would rush to school on a fucking Saturday?). They were all rowdy and rude, so instead of making them do what we want, they had us do what they wanted. There was a lot of running and sweat on their part (meaning my other classmates and the kids) and a lot of observing and not giving a fuck on my part along with my two friends Karen and Dionne.

We ended up just talking the whole time. After the exposure trip, we went to Dionne's house and omg dogs!!!! So. Many. Dogs. I really wish Frankie would be nicer to me. I feel like a mother with a crazy rebellious son! :'( I am so jealous of Dionne who has several very nice children agh I will be a horrid mother.

We ate at Omakase after. It's my new favorite place now! I had the unhealthiest sushi ever. Deep fried with cream cheese and salmon, yum! Again, just spent a lot of time talking and laughing (at people, mostly).

I have learned a lot of thingstoday.
1. Girls can be cruel bitches to other girls who are either one or more of the following
a. condescending
b. pretentious
c. douche-y
d. pa-cute (ugh I cannot think of another word for this it's 1am give me a break)
e. just plain annoying
f. deserve it
2. My school isn't as awful as I thought when it comes to legalistic Catholic rules.
3. Lesbian sex: how does it work?
4. How different high school friends are from college friends

Saying that I am exhausted is an understatement. I had to go grocery shopping before I could get home. I had to cook too because the maid was ironing clothes. I have a paper due in two days and I have yet to start on it. To top it all off, I got an F as my partial Math grade. I am glad that I had a semi-good Saturday, because tomorrow it's back to academics! Now, I need to go wash the treatment off my hair! Good night! :)

I have a terrible headache at the moment (the cause of is a mystery to me), but I just cannot wait to post these anymore! I've been keeping tabs on the Spring Haute Couture collections. There are just a few of them and I will just post the ones I like.

AWARDS SEASON!

I love award shows for many many reasons. The main reason being that I enjoy when movies are recognized for their success. 2010 has been an amazing year in cinema. I actually found it hard to pick a favorite movie for this year because they've all been so wonderful! Inception was my favorite, but after The Social Network came out, I had a change of heart. The cinematography, the acting, the script. It was flawless. I am so so so proud that it won so many awards!

Of course, as we all know, there's the fashion aspect of these award shows and that is my second favorite (usually my most favorite, but the movies were just so amazing this year I couldn't help but feel more excited about them). I present to you my best dressed (in no order):

Photobucket
Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive
This is so perfectly styled. From the hair to the bag (Can't see the shoes but I'm sure they're perfect). Is R Zoe still her stylist? In any case, well done!

Photobucket
Jennifer Lawrence in Louis Vuitton
I don't know anything about this girl aside from she was in Winter's Bone. I adore this dress and her clutch. I don't know what shoes she's wearing, but does it really matter?

Photobucket
Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum
Our girl Leighton did not disappoint. She's known to be very risky with her fashion choices, but today it seemed like that worked for her. This dress is absolutely stunning. Her shoes are perfect for this. I actually really love her bag because it's so quirky! Amazing job, Leighton!

Photobucket
Emma Stone in Calvin Klein
Emma has always had really good outfit choices over the span of her short career. I still don't consider her a fashion icon, though. I actually think it's quite unfair because everything will look amazing on her no matter what she wears. This is no exception! I didn't think this was Emma's style, but I'm glad she chose it! She looks amazing! I cannot find a photo of her back, but it's got a hole in it and it's fantastic. My only issue is her tan. I liked her pale.

Photobucket
Claire Danes in Calvin Klein
Not unlike Emma's dress, Claire's is also from Calvin Klein and has a bare back. I actually can't decide which one I prefer as they are both gorgeous, but I think Claire has done the minimalist look too many times before and I'd rather see her in a different more edgy dress.

Photobucket
Dianna Agron in J. Mendel
I really liked this dress when I saw it on the runway and Dianna looks great in it too. I think it's the necklace that's bothering me so much. I wish she hadn't put it on. Also her hair is a bit too Quinn Fabray. I don't know, she's a sweet girl, I just wish she'd mix it up a little.

Photobucket
January Jones in Versace
I expected a lot from January and I expected her to wear Versace too. She didn't disappoint (in fact she exceeded my expectations). I knew she would wear something sexy, but she took this dress and turned it up even more by making it red! Definitely on the top 3! Just something with the shoes. I wish they were different.

Photobucket
Hailee Steinfeld in Prabal Gurung
This amazing girl is, believe it or not, only 14. She has amazing and mature style for such a young girl. Maybe she has a stylist? I dunno. But still most girls her age prefer the outrageous gowns, but Hailee gets fashion. Do not like the bracelet, but everything else is flawless!

Photobucket
Julianne Moore in Lanvin
I admire Julianne Moore so much! She is such a classy lady, but still has lots of personality. She is so beautiful and ageless! I love this bright pink Lanvin dress she wore. it goes to show how fearless she is. The sleeve is a bit weird in some angles, and the creases bother me , but Julianne can work it!

Photobucket
Olivia Wilde in Marchesa
Olivia is absolutely stunning. The way this outfit was styled is great. her hair goes wonderfully with the dress and so does her make-up. What I don't like is her choice of footwear (not shown here but you can google it). I think it was pushing it. I think I like this look so much because I think of Olivia as such a sex symbol and a badass so it's nice to see her looking really girly!

Well, that's it for my best dressed. I didn't want to do a worst dressed anymore, but maybe I will next time. Who were your favorites?

I have no interest in beautifying our house. Whenever Mom wants to decorate for the holidays, I manage to talk her out of it saying that it's unnecessary (specially since we never have guests over or spend holidays at home), time consuming and expensive. When she bought seats for our breakfast nook, I told her that we can just use of monoblock chairs. Every single time my Mom tells me to fix my room we get into a heated argument. "What's the point? I'll just make a mess anyway!" That just goes to show how much i really don't give a shit what kind of filth I live in.

But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a great room when I see one. I love hotel rooms because they looks amazing and I don't do any of the cleaning (that, my dear friends, is the dream). I actually think I would care more and clean up more if I had a nice room. Part of the reason I feel this way is because we never have any guests over aside from relatives. We never have bosses or friends over to our house so, really, what is the point in making it look impressive? (I think it's why I do not know how to entertain guests). When we first got the house renovated, I was into planning what my room should look like. And then I was like fuck it, I'll spend the money on clothes instead of a duvet.

But my Mother has been breathing on my neck about this. She says "What's going to happen when you're married? You're just going to live in a filthy house because you don't want to clean up? You'll be a wife, you're supposed to do these things!". Honestly, I don't know what gave my Mom the idea that I, of all people, would be some kind of Stepford wife in a few years, but she is sort of right. I'm in college for Christ's sake. I better be more mature and clean up and beautify shit. Starting with my room. So I am planning on redecorataing and I am sure Mom will be up for it because she likes this kind of shit. Here are a few photos of what I want!

I have a thing for little nooks and crannies. They just seem so cozy. Also, big windows where you can read books next to are just so perfect. Lots and lots of pillows are a must!

Any suggestions? xx
