Let's do this.
Emanuel Ungaro's S/S 2011 had the one and only Anna Dello Russo walk its runway. I very much like the use of ostrich feathers because I have liked them ever since! I remember wanting to buy a skirt of said material, but my friends thought it looked crazy. Now, I definitely won't think twice when I see it in the mall again! Also loving the french braid!
Givenchy's S/S 2011 is one of those collections that have amazing pieces and it takes seeing them being worn and styled in everyday out of the runway photos to fall in love with them. That textured blazer (top left) is amazing. The white dress (middle left) is amazing. Those ruffled pieces (top middle and right) are amazing. This collection is amazing. I cannot wait to see these pieces on street style blogs.
Surprisingly, I am not in-love with the latest John Galliano collection. I am quite confused, to be honest. There are hints of Japanese kabuki and then some old glamour. But I usully love JG, so maybe it'll take some time for me to appreciate this.
It is very apparent that I am not one for the solid colors, but thanks to Andrew Gn, I am a believer! I always think bright colors look tacky easily, but here Gn used such luxurious colors and designs. I adore the Magenta dress (upper left) and would love to see it on the red carpet.
Giambattista Valli's collection was easy on the eyes. Clean constructions always make up an excellent collection in my book! Definitely loving the nude and orange dress (upper left) and yellow flowy gown (bottom right).
Yves Saint Laurent's classic looks never fail. I am not completely in-love with this collection, but I can appreciate its beauty. My favorite piece is the ruffled dress (bottom right).
your blog is awesome! and I love your miu miu background!
