Fashion Week > Hell Week

It's going to be Hell Week for me, meaning a lot of major papers to be written, a lot of quizzes to study for, a couple of major exams, but this doesn't mean I will be neglecting the shows coming up, specially because it's Paris Fashion Week!

Let's cap off the other shows first.

DSquared show us geeky chic this season. The socks + oxfords combo is perfection! This trend has been around a while, but so happy to see it on the runway! The little hipster inside me rejoices!

Very Britney Spears meets Sheryl Crow. I am just glad they didn't come in brown and/or army green colors. Still unsure about Roberto Cavalli's collection, but I will be watching out for trends that may have come from this collection.

Mark Fast showed an amazing collection. I have said it once, and I will say it again: I do not like fringe. But Mark has turned me into a lover. It all works so well: the knit + fringe + straps + beads. The only issue I have are the shoes. They look a bit too stripper-y for my taste.

Dolce & Gabbana's white lace works for every single piece. The high-waisted skirts are absolutely adorable and something I am definitely going to be buying! I even like how they look like doilies. White lace seems to be everywhere this season, no? Now, I never ever imagined animal print and white lace together in one outfit, but here it is in all it's D&G glory. I, for one, think it actually looks cute.

I remember wanting to cut really high slits into my dresses when I was a kid. I thought the sexiest pose was having one leg peering through the thigh high slit of your body hugging gown. Now Aquilano.Rimondi seems to be taking a que from my childhood fantasies. I love that the collection is colorful without being obnoxious. I want my very own striped sequin shirt!

The floral trend has been around for a while and I have seen everyone wearing it. I think it is very cute, but I haven't really gotten around to wearing the trend. I have seen floral rompers, shorts, skirts, tops and because everyone seems to be wearing it, there have been so much cheap-looking ones that I have spotted. D&G shows us how to wear floral right. Mixing different floral prints actually looks amazing here. The shoes look cute too! Now to save moolah to afford the bags.

Alberta Ferretti's whimsical garden collection makes me forget all about school, grades and all these worldly things. I love the earthy colors used. My favorite is definitely the bottom left dress!

I am still not completely sold on Versus' most recent collection. I find the plaid to be dowdy. It looks like those rag aprons we had to use during our high school cooking classes. The cuts of the dresses are cute though and the dresses would look good in a different print, maybe. What I really like is the black sheer top. I think it's perfection and I need it in my closet.

The first thing that caught my attention in Gianfranco Ferre's collection is the leather dress. It looks sexy, but not slutty, tough, but still cute. The collection is a mix of classy and sexy. Everything looks very expensive!

More animal print from Blumarine! I think paired with all the gold bling, the animal print looks fierce. I just really do not like the light fuschia leather jacket + fringe bag. The shoes in this collection look amazing though!

J'adore the topmost left dress. It is perfection from waist up. The orange dress is extremely sexy too! Plus those boots look amazing with the leg baring gowns. I think Pucci's S/S is a hit and I just know that the crossed strings will be a trend (I don't know what it's called, I'm sorry) as also seen in Roberto Cavalli.

Jil Sander's collection gathered a lot of hype and it is no surprise why. Although very simple, the pieces were beautifully made. I will definitely be pulling my skinny belts out of the closet.

I cannot even find the words to describe Francesco Scognamiglio's S/S 2011. It. is. bananas. It's so beautiful. TEARS. ACTUAL TEARS. Ok, kust kidding, but honestly, this is amazing. Even the shoes make me drool. CAN I JUST MARRY THIS COLLECTION!!!!???
