new obsession: peplum party!

 I tried out this H&M pola dot peplum top that's been sitting in my closet for months and I realized just how much I love this shape! It gives you an hourglass figure and makes you look slimmer around the waist. So I sought to find more peplum tops and, safe to say, they are currently my new obsession!

summertime sadness

(The title has nothing to do with the posts, as usual. It's just the song that I happen to be listening to!)

If you know me (or if you read this blog, which you're doing right now) then you would know that I hate putting in unnecessary effort (I hate putting in necessary effort too, but that's besides the point I'm trying to make). Whenever I travel with my family, I pack only the night before our flight-- by pack, I mean dump all the articles of clothing I see until I feel that they would be enough to last me the whole trip. I figure I don't really care about looking good, because I don't know anyone where I'm going and I hate having my photo taken anyway. But since today is Good Friday and tomorrow is something something Saturday and the day after that is a Sunday that is holier than other Sundays of the year, malls will be closed and I will be stuck at home until then. So I've decided that planning my outfits for next week's trip would probably help kill some time. I ended up not sleeping for a whole 24 hours (It's true, but I wasn't working on this the whole time, I was just trying to fix my body clock. And since we're in parentheses, I'd like to apologize for my writing. Again, I am running on no sleep)!

So here are the sets I've made! I picked only clothes that are similar to ones I own, so I can actually wear the outfit. I expect to be applauded for my effort in adding some color to these looks (it was painful to not have to go all black). I'm still deciding which looks to pack with me. That could take another sleepless night.

School is starting in a few weeks! 3 school essentials that I need for going to a school like Ateneo that's huge and requires me to walk around in the heat.

Sunnies. I never used to be comfortable wearing sunglasses when I'm any place other than the beach, but Ateneo is actually as sunny as a beach so I figured why the heck not? I only use my nude colored wayfarers, but I'm going to go shopping for more soon.


Everyone in our school wears shorts, because 1. we have no dresscode and 2. it's hot as hell in school. I wear then almost everyday, but I'm getting tired of my usual blue denim shorts, so I wanna add a bit of


Wearing heels in school is a huge no-no. Try it and you'll curse that second you decided on it. Flats are your best friends in college.



So not excited for going back to uni but I'm sure I will be once I go shopping in Bangkok this week! Way thrilled for that!

Two days ago I went on a beach trip with my friends. It was sort of a last minute thing so I didn't have time to diet and shop for the perfect bikini. I did have time to go through some online. Here are my top pics for every style. Personally, I think a bandeau looks best for my body type, but I included all kinds for everyone.

Sadly, summer is coming to a close as affirmed by an upcoming storm. Hope I can squeeze in a last swimming trip before rainy season comes around. Everyone stay safe!

I rarely go out nowadays. That means I rarely got to shop. Just a week ago, I was at the mall just to help my brother pick out shoes for his school party. I happened to chance upon Zara and had a peek. My my, was I in for a treat! Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt *u*

I wasn't able to look at everything because we were in a hurry so I thought, "Hey, that's what the internet is for!" I figured why stop at Zara? I checked out all my favorite stores' catalogs too.



I adore Zara's current collection! I'm more fond of the Women line rather than TRF. There are rarely any prints. The clothes are just clean cuts and bright colors. I loved this collection because of all the references it made to S/S collections. I spotted a brown and black striped dress (Stella McCartney), a structured green and black striped top (Prada), that scarf (Jil Sander-ish) and those beige buckle booties (Lanvin). Unfortunately those first two I entioned I couldn't find on the website, but I saw them at the mall. I really hope I could save up enough to buy some of my the pieces here. My top 3 would be the black tulip dress that I would don with numerous accessories(Mary Katrantzou isdatchu?), the green mini skirt which would go well with so many tops and shoes



I don't love Topshop as much as I used to. Maybe because they're still producing the same styles. I really like Topshop because it's got that very London vibe to it (duh!). Maybe it's a slow month in fashion for them, but I hope they get their groove back. I usually buy swimsuit from them but even that they don't have anything nice. I'm not even loving the shoes which is weird because the shoes are my favorites from Topshop. Ah, maybe it's just my style that's changed.

The moment I head to the mall, I'm trying on all that above to see if they look as amazing in real life. Fortunately for me, my weight works to my wallet status' advantage. Things don't generally look good on me so that means I won't be spending much (wow that sounds sad). Well, that's it! Wow, the things I do at 4am!
