Okay folks! It's really impossible to keep writing papers all day and stay sane. That's why I go for these little blogging breaks. I figured I would wrap up my Paris FW favorites!
I mean, how gorgeous is that black and blue look (top middle)? Alexis Mabille did not disappoint. After being so astonished by her Haute Couture collection, I expected a lot for her FW and she lived up to it. Even the coats (which I rarely really like) are cute!
I contemplated making a separate post for Givenchy, but I thought it would be unfair to all the other collections. Heehee. :) I am just really in love with it! With a collection like this, who could blame me? I know it got mixed reviews, but I personally love it. Animal sweaters are the next big thing, I called it! Also, still a lot of sheer present so that makes me happy! FYI I saw a pair of non-repulsive pointy toe flats and decided to buy them because they've been all over the runways! I'm glad I see them here or else I would have regretted buying the pair. As much as I dislike cats, I have to say, they are taking over fashion! The panther skirt and eared hat look (top middle) is super gorgeous, but the highlight of the show is definitely Natalia in an unexpected eye popping yellow outfit.
Azzaro is probably what I would wear to a first date (that is if I had the bank account of Bill Gates). Everything is always so, well, pretty! Always so lacy and sparkly, and yet very classy.
I had other Christian Dior photos, but I seem to have lost them (how that is I don't know). It's fine because these are my favorites anyway! I don't know how Galliano manages to design these and not make them look like tacky prom dresses. I have to say that after seeing another nude + light blue colored dress from Mr. Galliano (the first at Haute Couture), I have fallen in love with the combination. It's a real loss that we won't be seeing his creations anytime soon.
Lanvin was one of my favorites by far! The nude colored dress worn by Fei Fei is stunning! After seeing the S/S of Francesco Scognamiglio, I fell in love with dresses in this fabric. Florals for Fall! Groundbreaking (no sarcasm). All the accessories are to die for! I am so in love (I use this word a lot) with this collection because it's just so distinctly Lanvin.
That should be it for my PFW favorites! That concludes this season's fashion weeks. I don't know how editors find the time to go through everything, but I'm sure it's so much fun. Now, to focus on what people are wearing this S/S!
