Fashion Week !

Fashion week is here again and I cannot be more delighted! It's time for me to update my wardrobe and where better to get new ideas than from the new Spring 2011 collections? Only a few designers have come out with their collections so here are a few that I have liked so far.



Peter Som


Inside of me is a girly girl who loves bright colors and prints. That part of me was brought out by Peter Som's Spring 2011 collection. The image I see is of a young girl lounging by the pool drinking a cocktail. Everyone is looking at her admiring her casual cool clothes. The lovely rosettes (as seen on the black skirt) give a take on the florals in Spring and make it not so cliche. All in all, I must say this collection is very cute and definitely going to be an inspiration for a lot of trends!

Always a success in my book are Peter Som's collections.This Spring 2011 is no exception. I absolutely adore the shorts + sheer top combo. It is a look I have been wanting to try out for a long time and here I see it being executed perfectly! Everything here- from the shorts to the cocktails dresses to the gowns are absolutely lovely and all remind me of Spring. I see that a lot of sheer was used and that makes me really giddy because I've said in my previous posts that I really like that trend. Also, the flower details in the last 3 dresses are too beautiful! I am very very happy with this collection!
